Vintage Books has invited a group of talented illustrators to redesign the covers of 15 beloved classic children’s tales for its “Vintage Children’s Classics” series.
While respecting the memories that past generations of children may have of these great literary works, the illustrators also had to bring something modern to the covers that will appeal to the current generation of young readers.
A mix of old and new elements, the new illustrations will grace the covers of timeless tales like Alice In Wonderland, The Jungle Book and Peter Pan.
If you are the kind who literally judges the book by its cover, these covers may make you want to get new copies of your favorite childhood titles.
