Meet Halno, The Japanese ‘Harry Potter’

Graphic designer Halno—who was inspired by Natsumi Hayashi, and her levitating self-portraits—created his own series of levitating portraits.

Called ‘The Japanese Harry Potter’, the Japanese hipster created these magical-looking photos with the help of his assistant, Wacamera.

His series is shared on Instagram, which currently has about 50,000 followers.

Halno appreciates the big support and even shares a few tips to his fans, “To create your own copycat version of the ‘flying broomstick’, it is important to bend the legs, and make sure you perfect your facial expression, no excitement needed!”

“Just remember to be interesting, and different from other people. Amateur photos of food and clothing are boring, don't you think? You can fly on anything, not just a broomstick. Be creative!”
