To get more people to use Internet Explorer, the people at Microsoft Singapore have decided to make a cool trailer featuring the well-known web browser as a magical girl who fights viruses.

For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, a magical girl is a character in Japanese anime who changes into a costume that gives her powers to defeat her foes.

The heroine is even given a name, Inori Aizawa, and her costume features the Microsoft logo on her collar as well as her derriere.

Despite the awkward placement of the logo, this personification does look quite cool when defeating the antagonistic viruses in the video.

Aizawa even has a Facebook page, with a cosplayer imitating her look.

Although this idea is quite fun, we are still not sure if people would actually use Internet Explorer, given its rather less-than-stellar reputation.
